Welll... where do I begin... my life has not been to exciting lately! We're going though a little rough patch out here in Colorado, but things are still moving along. I have had alot of ups and downs in the last few weeks and the one that has been on my mind the most is the passing of Grandpa Canova. I know that he is now with his Heavenly Father and he is definately in a better place. I know I did not get to see him as much as I would have liked to, but I know and he knows the love is still there no matter what the distance. I wish I could be closer to all my family, but change is good and it helps you grow to be a better, stronger person.
For Grandpa they held a graveside service which was very simple and wonderful which is just how he was. While the service was going on there were grey skies all around except for right above us all where you know he was watching us. The best part of the service was that we all got roses to give to Grandma which overfilled a huge vase and was a great representation of our family. He served in the US Navy and Airforce as well as a sheriff in California for many years. He was always there for everyone and was a strong man. There are many memories that I will have of him that include visiting in Manilla, UT and getting to ride in the bucket behind the tractor. Many hours of putting together the wooden animal puzzles he made and getting stumped by all his puzzles. We all love him and will miss him!
P.S. Kenna I think we have the same thoughts on the pictures I promise I wasn't trying to copy you! :)

On another note I am sitting here by my lonesome tonight blogstalking (I am good at this!) David is on his way to Missouri with his dad to pick up a boat and a motor and they took the dogs with them. It is really erie sitting in an empty house with not even the ocasional sound of a dog collar rattling. I was filling a little bumbed out about being alone for a week until I saw this on the fridge!
AWE!!! HE DOES LOVE ME!! The best part of this is that he always makes fun of me when I leave him notes on the fridge, but it made my night to know he does think of me!

I tried to put a good one of the moose on here, but it keeps putting it upside down!
Doesn't he look GOOD behind the wheel!?
Also while we were in UT we got to go and visit with Laura and Kenny and there cutest little girl Abbie! We were lucky that we got to sit and visit with them for so long- hopefully they weren't sick of us! I did however get to be selfish and hold her the whole time we were there. I also convinced David to hold her as well- it was super CUTE!! He
I promise we're both a lot cuter in person! I blame the camera!
We took so many pictures of this cutie! This is the closet smile one we got!
Home-ward bound! :(
Then the search began- he had shot the elk, but it had run down the hill into a ravine into a spot that made it quite difficult to get it out of! His dad and him ended up riding it down the hill and wrestling with it for a few hours untill they could no longer get it any farther by themselves. At that point me, papa and mom came to the rescue to help them the rest of the way out! This is how we found him-
now he has dressed up with out me! He had been laying on the side of the hill soaked to the bone waiting! It was quite the adventure to get this elk down the side of the hill the rest of the way! It took all of us with the help of a big sled and the trusty six wheeler! Then he got to "ride" it down the road a ways so that we could get to a spot that he could be loaded into the truck!
So, about 4:30 pm and a long 8 adventurous hours later we got this monster of an elk the whole 3 miles back to the house. By this time he was wiped out! He managed to finish processing the elk and passed out for the night! Next came his many days of telling everyone! Can you blame him? This thing was big! We shall now enjoy the benefits of this kill for many months to come and the many years of seeing his antlers on the wall! These are just a few more pics to show a better view!

These are what will be on my wall in a few months so that he can stare at them all day!
