The verdict is....

He is ALIVE and doing better!! He is still hurting a little bit, but he's not headed to the ER!! He still has until next week to finish his antibiotics and hopefully he'll be 100%!

Feelin' Un Lucky!

Now last time I checked we don't have any Irish in the blood line and that may explain my lack of good luck! After all if it wasn't for bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all!All was finally going good- David was working again- bills were being paid- and I was starting to feel like everything was getting back to normal until... my poor hubby gets sick! He has been having a sharp pain in his side/belly for the past few days and spent all day Sunday in the fetal position laying on the bed! We like to have lazy weekends every so often, so it just happened to be the weekend we pull the mattress off the bed and put in the living room and lounge around. So, he lucked out and didn't even have to be in bed away from everything! Finally yesterday his mom and I convinced him he should go to the doctor to have it checked out after limping around work all day- good news is it wasn't appendicitis or a hernia like we thought it may be. Although it turned out to be something I haven't ever heard of instead. He was diagnosed with Diverticulitis (99% sure-doc says), which if you don't know what that is- neither did I! If you want to know more you'll have to google to get a good idea of what it is (I can't fully explain it very well)! Anyways the doc was ready to send him the ER which he did not want- he didn't even want to go to the doc! Stubborn is what he is! Anyways she said that we could try some antibiotics and if the pain doesn't go away in 72 hours- to the hospital he goes!! So, of course now his mom and I have become his personal doctors and are making sure he doesn't die on us!He sure does love all the nagging and checking on him to make sure he is taking his pills and drinking lots and lots (I have made him drink while I monitor his proper intake) of water! ;)He said he went to the potty LOTS last night!! LOL So, now we wait and see if he gets better! Thankfully his new boss understands he's not just faking and he is missing work already! We will know on Thursday if he is in the brink or should we say the ER- in his mind it's about the same! Wish us LUCK!!!
