Gingerbread houses
I love girls nights and this one consited of making gingerbread houses. Molly, Katie and I had a blast doing these and spent WAY too much time on the little things!
Of course in the process David was playing with his little buddy Keaton and made sure he got to taste some of the good frosting!
We also let Easton and Taylor do a little house as well and Taylor wasn't a big fan of frosting in the mouth- I didn't know a kid wouldn't love it!
The finished product with my Bestie! Everyone says we look like sisters!
The finished project!

Day of Thanks
This year was spent with David's mom for turkey day. We always spend the weekend up at their house and of course enjoyed some good quality family time.
David's mom is a GREAT cook and as always the food was delicious!! This is a rare thing- a family picture!

Take me out to the ball game...
We went to watch a baseball game with our friends Tyler and Katie with their kids. Easton is really into baseball so it made it much more fun with having a kid that was loving every minute of it! We got slightly rained on, but it was fun!
GO ROCKIES!!!!

5 years!!
Babe-
Who would have thought that a math class would be were our story begins! You walked through the doors tired as could be for our 7:30 am math class, dressed in gym shorts and a t-shirt carrying a Red Bull. I thought you were cute and turned around to say hello and make some small chat. Once the class ended I watched you walk to your next class and thought to myself- he must be a bad boy! Of course that was after seeing your tattoo on your calf and thought we'd be good friends. It didn't take long before we were hanging out and having a fun time together. We dated all through the end of school and during this time you were investigating the church and decided to be baptized on February 18, 2006. Despite what everyone thinks- I didn't introduce you to the gospel or force you to get baptized even though it was my dad you decided to have baptize you. That was a great day for both of us and love you so much for the decision you had made!
Once school ended you took a job with the Fire Service and I moved back home. Shortly after you were allowed to come live at our house because of course we didn't want to be to far from each other and Colorado was just to far to let you go! We continued dating and had talked about marriage and what might be our future. We had talked about getting engaged in the fall- that was until you surprised me in June with a proposal!
A few short months later we were MARRIED on August 19, 2006! We had our own place and our life together fully began. At this time we knew our plan for kids would be on hold, so instead we added a puppy! The deal was that if the dog lived 5 years than we could think about having kids- of course there were other stipulations in there as well, like finishing school and such. We were just starting out and had lots to learn about living with each other.
The following year in May 2007 we moved to Colorado- this was a huge change for me! I had lived in Utah my whole 20 years and was scared to death! We had a tough year this year with you loosing your job and the trials of finding something new. I had a hard time being away from everyone I knew and not having many friends. We relied alot on each other during this year and definitely put our relationship to the test.

In 2008 we moved again- this time into a better location. Again we had our ups and downs, but we were starting to find our place in Colorado. We went about our daily life dealing with the challenges of newly married couple and growing together through all the trials that were thrown our way. 2010 brought with it some great friends that we have grown close with and that helped us more than I ever thought possible. The church became more of an importance in our life and things started were looking better than ever.
Now- it's 2011 we have been through so much together- we have had our fair share of low time and way too many to count of the high times. We are stronger now than we ever have been and hope we continue to stay on this path of love. One day I know we will go through the temple when the time is right and will have at least 2- maybe 3 ;) little ones join the Valance family.
5 Years has brought us 2 states, 3 houses, 6 vehicles, 1 dog and lots of memories!
I love you so much and can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!
OLIVE YOU!
Love- Me
