4th of July

We had a great time this year hanging out with all our friends! We started the day out bright and early going to the Greeley parade- which in the end was a bust, but still fun!
We then went over to Tyler and Katie's to hang out for the rest of the day! We had an adult slip and slide that was a blast and the hit of the party.
We had TONS of good food that everyone contributed to and some awesome desserts!
I made cupcakes and then helped Katie make a cake- it was AWESOME!!!
It was quite the project, but it was fun to see every one's reaction once we cut in to it!
We ended the night snuggled up in a hammock watching the fireworks from there back yard!
It was a great day and tons of fun! Happy Independence day!!

Madi Graduation!

Madison graduated today!

Madi is my younger sister and I had the opportunity to fly back to Utah again to be a part of her big day! I am so proud of her decision to go on to college and continue her education. Believe it or not she is following in my footsteps and going to Snow College and will even be living in the same apartment complex that I did! Everyone says she can follow me as long as she doesn't come home with a boy (I don't think it turned out bad- if I do say so myself!)
Congrats Madi!

Happy Birthday to me!

For my birthday this year there wasn't too much going on, but we were invited over to Tyler's parents house for a pig roast. It turned out to be a super windy day and with that wind it made it a bit chilly! The food was good and we had good company which made things allot better. I am still owed a present and I can't decide whether I want a new camera or if I should go with something else. Either way I am sure it will be great!
Happy #24 to me!!

P.S. David told me I was his favorite now! At least for this year- seeing as his favorite number is 24- I feel so lucky! ;)

Taylor's Graduation

David's oldest cousin Taylor graduated today! Taylor is one of David's 3 cousins and he is very close to all of them- they are pretty much considered his siblings. Taylor has turned into a beautiful young lady over the past few years that I have gotten to be a part of her life. We love her so much and are very proud of her accomplishments and her decision to go on to college.
CONGRATS TAYLOR!!

Wedding Bells--- FINALLY!! ;)

Dallan got married, and it's still weird to say that!

(this is my favorite engagement pic of them!)

We were able to make the drive to Utah for Dallan's wedding! We left on Tuesday night around 8 o'clock and got to my parents house around 3 in the morning- it made for a very long night! The next day we got to go get my hair done and also get glitter toes as well. We stayed up late dipping in chocolate and drizzling chocolate on top. On Thursday we did a lot of last minute errands and chores to get everything ready for the big day on Friday. This included a lot of cupcakes to be dipped in doughnut glaze and sprinkles and a stop at Sam's that ended with the hot dog special with dad! David lucked out of all the wedding prep and got to go spend the day wandering around Cabella's!

The next day was the big day- it was a ton of work, but as usual it was all worth it in the end to see everybody happy and enjoying themselves! I am excited to say that I now have another sister Stacie- were happy to have her in the family as we continue to outrank the men!

The day was great and it was nice to be together with my family that I don't get to see all the time! Saturday was a day of sleeping in and lots of shopping! Mom and us girls hit the stores while David and dad went golfing! We then got up early and made the long treck home on Sunday!

Congrats Dallan & Stacie & Ruger!

Birthday Festivities!

David has gotten lucky this year with all the celebrating that has been going on! We started out the festivites on Wednesday, by going out to dinner just him and I to a place called Osaka. It is a place where they cook the food right in front of you, and it was delicious!! Instead of catching the usual shrimp we got to try our luck with chicken. We didn't do so well, but I still really enjoy that type of atmosphere and we had ourselves a good time! On Thursday night we got together with all our friends for a BBQ. We had one of David's favorite foods- brats. It was a good night of eating food and hanging out- which is what most of our weeknights consit of lately. We really have some good friends and have been blessed to have them in our lives! This picture is mainly for me- David looks super cute holding Katie's baby Keaton. :) He is now 7 weeks old and David has gotten the courage to actually pick him up and walk around with him! I never thought it would happen!

Tyler and Katie Brandon and Molly Me and the birthday boy! For his birthday dessert I slaved in the kitchen to make everyone there own personal fruit pizza! As you can tell Easton enjoyed his! Also, just for entertainment some bloopers from the night!

On Friday night we went up to Winter Park to stay the weekend with his folks and to get some snowboarding in! The snow wasn't very good, but at least we got to be up on the hill for his actual birthday which was Saturday the 2nd. His mom made him a steak dinner and a homemade blueberry pie! Can you say spoiled!! For his birthday he bought himself a bow case! I had bought him one a few days before and he came home with one as well- needless to say he liked the one he bought so I returned the one I bought for him! Such a stink- he should know better than to go shopping a few days before his birthday! Good thing I had a back up plan!-That may be changing into a hunt of some sort! Whatever happens I am sure he will like either thing he ends up doing! HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY BABE!

No drawing on your body!

We have a friend with a two year old boy who just noticed David's tattoo the other day.He saw the tattoo then looked up at David and told him- "your not supposed to draw on your self!" We all busted out laughing and then had to tell him that your right you aren't supposed to draw on yourself with markers and that David was naughty! He told him several times to wash it off and he even tried to rub it off himself. He was intrigued all night long- it made for an entertaining evening! Naughty David!
